Fascinating. I’m only to the part about the “fading” consciousness but it reminds me of last Fall.
A friend was visiting and as we had coffee I thought about the chickens I have. On the third thought I said, sorry I have to go check the chickens. I found one poor gal on her back flopping around terrified. Somehow her foot got caught in a plastic bag and she was really trapped. Did she call for help or did the great universe pass the message on? Why didn’t I respond sooner? I did have the chickens butchered but now I’m having a hard time eating them. Don’t have pigs anymore!
